Mohammad Dawud

Mohammad Dawud thinks Osama Bin Laden deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. His reasoning is that Yassir Arafat got one and Bin Laden is a much bigger terrorist than him, so why not? And really, it's just crazy enough to happen. The kind of naive liberals who place a Peace Prize in Arafat's bloody hands could conceivably think Bin Laden deserves one, too.

Dawud was spouting his nonsense on the speaker's corner in Hyde Park in London when Amar C. Bakshi found him to profile him in "American Finds Islam in Jail; Moves to Saudi Arabia" in his very interesting "How The World Sees America" series. Yes, Dawud grew up in America to become a burglar and armed robber. He converted to Islam during his seven year sentence in a federal penitentiary in North Carolina.

Saudi Arabia's Wahhabi death cult has gained a monopoly on supplying Muslim clerics for the US prison system and aggressively recruits prisoners to become Muslim. At the end of his sentence, the Wahhabis brought him back to Saudi Arabia for three years of indoctrination on the Saudi's tab. Dawud refrains from naming his particular sponsors because they are enemies of America and because he claims that since the September 11 attacks, there has been an inexplicable "phobia" about training imams. Whodathunkit?

Dawud wants to see the world governed by Islamic Sharia law, which would fulfill the Prophet Mohammed's command to Muslims to make the whole world submit to Allah. He sees "pockets of Sharia" in America which make him happy but he wants the whole thing, “If we can take America, then why not?”

Bad Day In Jihadi-Ville

They were a band of happy jihadis out to attack an outpost of the Great Satan. They were so sure of their victory that they brought a videographer along to document their astounding success.

Unfortunately, those satanic American infidels are tougher than they look and handed the jihadis asses to them. Instead of a glorious victory tape, the videographer taped his own death and the deaths of his fellow assholes. They were annihilated in their ill-considered and incompetent attack.

However, the good news is that they went directly to paradise, got to meet Allah, and collected their seventy-two virgins. And they didn't even send our guys a thank you note.

Watch it all here.

Tantor's Motivational Moment

Dunno who the author of these images may be, but I'm sure he'd agree that there is no "I" in "nuke."

Mohammed's Three Stages Of Conquest

The Barnabus Fund explains the Hamas takeover over of Gaza as a mature expression of the Prophet Muhammad’s migration model of conquest:
"This is a staged programme that seeks to establish an Islamic state under shari‘a modelled on Muhammad’s practice. Islamists are out to capture the state in stages following Muhammad’s paradigm of first setting up an alternative Islamic society which when strong enough will take over full control of the state and its centres of power. The methods are dictated by the stage in which the movement finds itself: in the first stage of weakness it focuses on peaceful mission work recruiting individuals to its ranks. In the second stage of consolidation it organises its infrastructure, builds up its armed forces and engages in dissimulation such as the acceptance of the democratic process in order to strengthen its position. Finally in the stage of strength, when it deems the right time has come and it is strong enough, it uses violence with no holds barred to take over the state and initiate a jihadi campaign to expand its sphere of dominion."
The Barnabus Fund makes the argument that the Islamist assault on the West progresses according to the same model, but has not advanced as far:
"For those with eyes to see, similar processes are underway among the Muslim communities in Western states, including Britain, as Islamists build up a vast infrastructure of organisations and institutions while presenting themselves as liberal and democratic. There can be no doubt that their final goal, according to their published dogmas, remains an Islamic state under shari‘a. The tactics will differ and change, but the goal remains the same and the method of attaining it in well defined stages will continue to be used. Most Islamists in the West reckon they have moved past the first stage into the second, that of building up and strengthening their infrastructure while using deception to enter the democratic process so as to gain new positions of power. Once they judge they are strong enough, they will move into the third stage of power when violence will be used, if necessary, to gain total control of state and society."
Measured against this model, America is transitioning from Stage 1 to Stage 2. Saudi Arabia has used its alliance with the US to send thousands of Wahhabi-trained imams to radicalize the majority of mosques here. Likewise, Saudi Wahhabis have gained a monopoly over the Muslim chaplains in the prison system, where they recruit criminals to radical Islam. The Saudis and their allies fund CAIR, which seeks to subvert the political and legal system in America to advance radical Islam. Step by step, the radical Muslims seek to establish a beachhead in America for the coming conquest by Islam.

Now, that's never gonna happen. America is never going to turn Muslim. The radicals have vastly overestimated their prospects and vastly underestimated America. However, billions of bucks and buckets of blood will be spent to repel the radical Muslim invaders and disabuse them of their insane ambition.

Mohammad Sidique Khan

Mohammad Sidique Khan was the organizer of the London Tube Bombings of July 7, 2005 in which 52 innocent commuters were killed and 700 wounded, many grievously, when he and three others detonated their home-made bombs in the subway and on a bus. Shiv Malik dug deep into the background of Khan, even talking to Khan's cabbie brother, to write an article in Prospect magazine called "My Brother The Bomber." It's a long piece that's well worth reading.

Khan's story is one of alienation and frustration, where guys like him feel neither British nor Pakistani. It begins in a suburb of Leeds called Beeston, one of the poorest places in England, a Pakistani ghetto. The immigrants there had a strong sense of community until the drug dealers took over ten years ago. Now it's a fragmented community. This is where Khan walked out of his home one day, leaving his wife and child behind, to kill himself and as many infidels as he possibly could.

The older immigrants, illiterate and lost in their new land, had no clue what to do about the drug dealers. Some of the second generation did. About a dozen and a half of them formed themselves into a gang called the "Mullah Boys" who kidnapped addicts and held them until they kicked their habit, cold turkey. The Mullah Boys grew more religious and righteous as they went. Khan was one of their leaders. He went Wahhabi in his Islam about that time.

Marriage became another factor in the alienation of the young from the old. Malik explains that many of the immigrants in Beeston carry tradtions from the old country:

"Almost every family is ultimately from a rural part of Pakistani Kashmir called Mirpur, where the rules of tradition are strict and unforgiving. In Mirpur, as in many poor parts of the world, the basic structures of life—justice, security and social support—are organised by the local tribe and not by a central state. One consequence is that people can't just marry whom they want. If they did, then over time tribal lands would be broken up by the rules of inheritance, and the economic base of the tribe, or baraderi (brotherhood), would be destroyed. This is one reason children in rural Pakistan are often treated as the property of their elders and encouraged, or forced, to marry within the baraderi.

Families that allow children to marry for love are considered to have lost their izzat, or honour. In most circumstances, the only way for the family to regain it is to kill the offending boy or girl. Pakistan has the highest number of honour killings in the world."
However, the radical Muslims differ from the traditional Muslims on marriage:

"... traditional communities often inadvertently push their young into the arms of the radicals. Attitudes to jobs, dress, schooling and socialising all play their part in driving youngsters away from their parents' generation. But one of the biggest factors that has helped the growth of British Islamic radicalism is marriage.Islamism's most important tenet is that Muslims should not be divided by race or nationalism—that all Muslims are one. It therefore can offer an Islamic route out of having to marry your cousin.

[Islamist recruiter Hassan] Butt knows this because it happened to him. When, instead of marrying his cousin, Butt tried to marry his sweetheart, he found himself deploying the arguments of his Islamist recruiter against his own father—that compulsion in marriage is un-Islamic and that forced marriages were a cultural import from Hindu India. And when the forces of traditionalism refused to give consent, Butt, like many of his friends, ended up a pariah within his own community.

"When you're cut off from your family," Butt explained, "the jihadi network then becomes your family. It becomes your backbone and support." He added that when you join it becomes impossible to leave because there is nowhere else to go. The network starts operating like a cult."
Khan's alienation was exascerbated by falling in love with a fellow student at Leeds Metropolitan University, Hasina Patel. She was a Deobandi Muslim, a Wahhabi affiliated sect. He refused a traditional arranged marriage and married for love.

The traditional Muslims are also at a disadvantage economically due to the differing ways they and the Islamists fund their mosques:

"Since most of traditional Sunni Islam is devoid of an organised establishment, the money for running a mosque normally comes directly from the local Muslim community. In Britain, this means that in order to maintain community harmony, the teachings remain bland and the imam will avoid theological controversy. It also means that once there is enough money to run the mosque, there is no incentive to find new believers.

On the other side, British fundamentalists and Islamists are centrally funded. It is estimated that over the last two decades, Saudi Arabia has set aside $2-3bn a year to promote Wahhabism in other countries. It is not known how much of that money has come to Wahhabi groups in Britain, but one major recipient has been the Leeds Grand Mosque."
Where ever extremist Muslims perpetrate terror, there is a link to Saudi Arabia. The Wahhabi missionaries sent out from the darkest heart of Islam there exploit the alienation of the lost Muslim immigrants in the West to give them the strident radical identity which appeals to them.

Kahn left behind a martyrdom tape to taunt we infidels, we kuffars, from the grave. The part that pleases leftist sensibilities, where Khan condemns British foreign policy, has had a lot of play in the media. The majority of Khan's rant is about religion, a supremacist rant that has not been played:

"Our so-called scholars today are content with their Toyotas and semi-detached houses. They seem to think that their responsibilities lie in pleasing the kufr instead of Allah. So they tell us ludicrous things, like you must obey the law of the land. Praise be God! How did we ever conquer lands in the past if we were to obey this law?… By Allah these scholars will be brought to account, and if they fear the British government more than they fear Allah then they must desist in giving talks, lectures and passing fatwas, and they need to sit at home and leave the job to the real men, the true inheritors of the prophets."
It's not about the foreign policy. It's about the religion.

Zainab Abu Salem

"Suicide Bomber Zainab Abu Salem; Her head separated from her pure body, and her Ra'ala [Muslim headscarf] remains to decorate [her face]. Her place is in Paradise, where in the highest heavens, Zainab ... sister [who has been raised to the level] of men."

English translation of the Arabic text in the Hamas children's newspaper Alfatah of September 22, 2004, in praise of 18 year-old suicide bomber and children's television presenter Zainab Ali Issa Abu Salem.

Zainab Abu Salem came from the Askar refugee camp near the West Bank city of Nablus. She was carrying a bag of explosives toward a crowded bus stop in the French Hill neighborhood of Jerusalem at 3:40 PM on September 22, 2004 when two Israeli border police stationed at the adjacent hitchhiking station spotted her and moved to stop her. They asked to see her identity papers and search the bag she was carrying on her back. She argued for a few seconds then detonated her bomb, killing herself and the two police, plus wounding sixteen people. The bag had three to five kilograms of explosive packed inside shrapnel. After ambulances carried away the wounded, police and volunteers searched the immediate area for bomb parts and bits of human flesh.

The Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigade, affiliated with Yasir Arafat’s Fatah, boasted she was theirs. Zainab volunteered for a suicide attack, saying she wanted to avenge Palestinian militants killed recently in Nablus. Her father, Ali Abu Salem, 48, collapsed and his wife, Sahar, wailed at the news of their daughter's attack.

The heroic policemen were kids themselves, conscripts serving their country. Corporal Mamoya Tahio, 20 was from Rehovot. Corporal Menashe Komemi, 19, lived in Moshav Aminadav on the outskirts of Jerusalem. One of them died immediately. The other one lingered to die on the operating table at Hadassah University Hospital at Mount Scopus. Komemi is survived by his parents and seven siblings. His cousin, Ra'anan Komemi, was killed during his military service in a gun battle with Palestinians in Nablus.

Avigail Hilini, 22, was going home to the West Bank settlement of Mitzpeh Yericho when she saw her, "I saw the terrorist coming, I knew she was a terrorist straight away, you could see the tension and cruelty in her face. She was totally covered in a large brown shawl, except for her face and eyes. I saw that the Border Policeman was checking her, and I [calmed] down a bit. Seconds later she exploded. I saw people running everywhere and I ran myself. I started shaking and crying."

Zainab was the fourth of ten children in her family, who were well off for Palestinians. They owned the television station where she appeared on a children's show. She lived with her aunt, Salwa Abu Salem, a 49 year old teacher, a dozen people in one house. Zainab had just graduated from high school and was talking about going to college, before she blew herself up.

At 3 am the morning after Zainab's attack, two trucks full of Israeli soldiers came to the house, showed Zainab's family a photograph of her severed head, asked what room was hers, and blew that room up. It tore out the entire first floor. Her uncle, Mustafa Shinawi, apparently approved of her suicide bombing, saying, "Every Palestinian finds his own suitable way to protest the Israeli oppression."

Salway claims she had no idea that Zainab was going on a suicide mission. Says Salwa, "I didn't just lose my niece, I lost trust. I believe the families of those that killed themselves did not know what was happening. If a parent knew that a child was planning an attack they would never let their child do it. No parent would."

The Palestinian Authority TV uses images of such suicide bombings to indoctrinate their young to aspire to sweet Shahada Martyrdom in a popular segment called the "Farewell letter clip". Civilians are shown attacking Israelis. The body of such a shahad is brought to his mother, who kisses him, then raises her hand above her mouth to give the traditional Arab call of joy. Then, she dramatically hands the rifle to her next son so he too can die as a shahad. Arafat himself has appeared on PA children's TV, telling them, "Is it not the greatest message to the world, when a child dies for Allah?"

Mothers of martyrs are proud of their sons. Being the mother of a suicide bomber in Palestine is akin to being the mother of a doctor in America. When she walks the streets, Palestinians say with admiration, "There goes the mother of the Shahid." The Saudis pay the mothers of suicide fodder thousands of dollars, which goes far to cushion the blow. Often, junior siblings with dim prospects see suicide bombing as the only contribution they can make to their family and a chance to enjoy an elevated status in their community, however briefly.

Yasser Arafat boasted his best weapon was the Palestinian mother's womb. Golda Meir sized the situation up, "We can only have peace with the Palestinians when they love their children more than they hate Israel."

Don't expect peace with the Palestinians anytime soon.

Why They Hate Us

Dr. Abd Al-Hamid Al-Ansari, former dean of the shari'a and law faculty at Qatar University, explains the roots of terror in his article, "How to Make Our Young People Love Life," published in the Kuwaiti daily Al-Siyassa and translated by the invaluable MEMRI:

"Terrorism is the fruit of hatred - hatred of life, hatred of civilization and the [modern] era, hatred of society and state, hatred of living people. The young people who have become tools of murder and human bombs are the sons of the culture of hatred, and the outcome of a fanatical culture and extremist ideology that sees life, its pleasures, and its beauty as unimportant. Ultimately the political, economic, social, and religious motives that push [the young people] to blow themselves up lie in a single main cause - and that is the culture of hatred.

"These young people, at the age of flowering, have become the enemies of their society, avenging, hating, and exploding. They are our terrorist sons, raised in our bosoms, suckled by our culture, taught in our schools, and taught religious law from our religious pulpits and by the fatwas of our clerics.

"What, then, has made them prefer death to life? I have no answer except the fact that we have not managed to make them love life. We have taught them to die for the sake of Allah, but we have not taught them to love, to build, to create, and to help society for the sake of Allah. We have taught them that nationalism [means] attacking America and opposing imperialism, but we have not taught them that nationalism is love, loyalty, and belonging to the homeland...

"How can this miserable creature called the Arab and Muslim individual not turn to extremism, when he is surrounded by an overall atmosphere of extremism, bound by the shackles of repression and prohibitions, and girded by the ideas of intimidation and terrorization, and of almost endless torment? These accompany this creature from birth to death, beginning with dire warnings about the torments of the grave and enemy plots lying in wait for Islam and the Muslims, [as well as] the long list of prohibitions that has made blessed life - the gift of the Creator - into a prison of pain, from which the individual seeks to escape to Paradise and to the lovely maidens in it.

"As if all this were not enough, we even employ religious police to follow the people, to restrict their freedoms, to spy on them, and to interfere in their personal affairs. So how can there not be widespread phenomena of tension and worry in the souls [of the people]?...

"Go to hear a Friday sermon, and you will find a preacher who is enraged at the world, angry at civilization, spreading the poison of hatred and enmity. Then you will leave [the mosque] tense and angry!...

"The world's young people engage in music, art, and enjoyment of the pleasures of life. They create, discover, and participate in building the strength and the culture of their society - while we engage our young people in religious law disputes on the veil, the beard, how long garments should be, and how to greet Christians - or we engage our young people in adults' political and ideological disputes, or push them to go to Iraq and Afghanistan to commit suicide!

"Hatred is a culture of prohibitions, and the result of our viewing the world as an enemy lying in wait [for us.] Many factors have played a part [in shaping this world view], including the religious messages anchored in fears of plots [against us], the educational messages that have produced in young people alienation from the [modern] era, and a great number of publications by the Muslim Brotherhood and by the nationalists, which have, for the past 50 years, spread hatred of the other and conspiracy theories [against the Muslims].

"We need a culture that will restore the importance of life and the value of the individual, and will make young people love the arts and the humanities..."
In short, they hate us because they are taught to hate us. Theirs a culture of hate. Until their culture changes, they won't change.
